Communicating together online via Skype or any other suitable software is a great way to access training and support when you need it.

Refresh skills or MBSR
I can deliver to you the Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) 8 week course online via Skype , Google Hangouts or any similar functioning online video service.
It is not possible for everyone to find an MBSR class on their doorstep nor sometimes is it convenient to attend at the times a course is presented. It maybe that you would prefer to work on a one to one basis from the comfort of your home or your would like to access this facility whilst working and on the road. Whatever brings you to mindfulness online I can assure you of the highest standards of care and presentation.
Mindfulness in MBSR is quite different than conventional talk therapy or counseling. Our life experience is drawn into the present moment where we allow and accept what we find, to be there, as it is. Through the practice of the skills of mindfulness we move ourselves into a position where, gently and kindly, we can experience working with something that is difficult for us.
Each week we introduce a mindfulness skill and explore the psychology that supports it through inquiry. Each week has a theme and our home practise, of at least forty-five minutes each day, reinforces and grows our skills. Through the weeks we create a skill-set that allows us to work mindfully with any difficulty, so that we may learn to allow and accept and then take the best course of action for our wellbeing. We build our practise of working with these difficulties choosing tiny very manageable problems to begin with so we become experienced and skilled and find out how the mindfulness works in resolving our relationship to them.
The direction we take is managed together so that you can make progress towards achieving your goal. We develop the breathing space skills to manage our life experience as it arises through our day. The types of breathing space cover all eventualities and accompany the longer practises of body scan and meditations on breath and body amongst other variations. We progressively approach life in a more mindful way as we procede through the course.
